Groupe d'étude sur l'intersubjectivité

The Groupe d'étude sur l'intersubjectivité (GEI) is a professional association based in Montréal, whose members practice psychotherapy using an intersubjective perspective inspired by self psychology. It offers an opportunity for affiliation to therapists who would like to learn this approach. Our objectives include offering our members activities for their continuing education and for the sharing of clinical experiences and reflections.

Annual Conference
A key moment in our yearly calendar of activities is our Annual Conference given by an invited speaker who is a prominent author in the field of intersubjectivity or self psychology. For the 9th Annual Conference of the GEI to be held September the 22nd of 2012, we will have the great pleasure of welcoming Dr Robert Stolorow, Ph.D., psychoanalyst in Los Angeles, on the topic of The Intersubjective-Systems Theory: A Paradigmatic Revolution in Psychoanalytic Theory and Practice. Membership and site access
To apply for membership please visit our Membership application page. Your membership will add a member status to your site account which will allow activity registrations at member' reduced fee, and also allow access to the members' section of the site. The other sections, which give information about the GEI and our current activities, are available to all.

Online registration and membership payments
When paying online for an activity or your membership, your GEI web site account will allow you to view the current status of your current transaction, to view your registrations and membership application history, and to print your receipts when your payments are completed. If you don't already have a site account, click on Créer un nouveau compte (Create a new account) in the right column of the page and follow instructions.
